Welcome to the USC Internal Medicine Residency Program. I am delighted to introduce you to our educational program. The principal goal of the USC Internal Medicine Residency Program is to train our residents to be talented and compassionate internists and thus ensure their access to a wide range of career options. Our residents are exposed to a scope of clinical pathology that is truly unrivaled in the United States. The breadth of our curriculum allows us to provide our trainees with a unique range of experiences in both ambulatory and inpatient care. The exceptional clinical opportunities at USC coupled with our structured teaching and clinical programs foster the maturation of USC Internal Medicine residents into excellent clinicians.

The USC Internal Medicine Residency is situated on the USC Health Sciences Campus located near metropolitan Los Angeles. The campus is a bustling and stimulating environment comprised of the Keck School of Medicine, the USC School of Pharmacy, Keck Hospital, the Los Angeles General Medical Center and a variety of research institutes dedicated to excellence in teaching, scientific investigation and state of the art clinical care. Over 200 full-time Department of Medicine Faculty work on this campus and contribute to the training of our residents. In addition to having tremendous clinical acumen, our Faculty boast a variety of research programs in basic laboratory science, epidemiology, health outcomes, translational and clinical research.
